Managers of oil rigs and gas plants around the world know that a stoppage can cost millions. DHL Supply Chain is a world leader in preventing those stoppages and keeping plants running smoothly. Our challenge was to reach an audience that was scattered around the world in remote places and encourage them to re-consider a brand that is mostly associated with express parcel delivery. Working closely with DHL Supply Chain’s experts, we created a free webcast which looked in detail at the technical issues around improving supply chain management in the energy sector so potential customers could see for themselves DHL Supply Chain speaking their language, and to reward their interest with advice they could start to use. We supported this with a highly targeted international direct mail and email campaign and advertising in key industry titles.
