Our brief was to help launch and amplify Mercedes-Benz’s latest brand campaign ‘Escape the Map’, created by our partners AMV.
‘Escape the Map’ is an interactive film set in Google Streetview maps. Marie is trapped there though she thinks she knows a way out and has secured a C 63 AMG CoupĂ© for her escape. Viewers of the film face three interactive tasks. If they overcome them all and help Marie escape the map they enter a prize draw to win a C-Class C 350 CoupĂ©.
W7 built a preview page to develop pre-launch intrigue and drive traffic to Marie’s Twitter feed @girlinmap. At launch we created a YouTube masthead, a range of showroom point of sale materials including an impressive cardboard standee with Blippar™ functionality. We also created flash banners, mobile roadblock banners and a special Retailer only pack to inform and excite Mercedes-Benz staff. Above the line work including 6 sheets, a Metro wrap, TV ad and the film itself was created by AMV.
